Rehlko introduces six redesigned KG Series generators for 80–200 kW applications
PrintRehlko strengthens its KG Series gaseous generator portfolio with six EPA-certified models for 60 Hz applications across the United States and Canada.
The lineup introduces updates for the existing KG80, KG100, KG125, KG150, KG180 and KG200 models, evolving Rehlko's offering across the 80–200 kW power range. Built around common platforms and Rehlko-designed engines, the KG Series has been engineered to simplify specification, streamline installation, and deliver dependable performance backed by local and global service and support.
Available throughout North America, the KG Series gives engineers, contractors and facility managers greater flexibility when specifying standby power for commercial, industrial and municipal applications, including manufacturing facilities, healthcare centers, water and wastewater treatment plants, telecommunications infrastructure, hotels and retail facilities.
Updating the KG Series
The launch consists of six gaseous generator models covering the 80–200 kW power range.
KG80, KG100 and KG125: 80–125 kW with a 6.2L Rehlko engine
KG150, KG180 and KG200: 150–200 kW with a 10.3L Rehlko engine
The KG Series enables customers to choose from a single family of generators based around the same engineering principles, helping simplify training, maintenance, and long-term fleet management.

A simpler approach to specifying backup power
Every installation is different. Power requirements, environmental conditions, regional regulations, and site constraints all influence generator selection, which is why flexibility has become just as important as performance in generating dependable power.
The evolved KG Series has been developed to give customers, engineers and specifiers greater freedom to tailor systems around individual project requirements, using configurable options including voltage, frequency, enclosures, and control systems. Whether the requirement is a standard installation or a highly customized application, the KG Series is engineered to adapt without adding unnecessary complexity.
Benefits for engineers and specifiers include:
Greater consistency across projects
Simpler installation and commissioning
Flexible configurations without unnecessary complexity
Easier long-term servicing and fleet management
Engineered to make installation easier
While reliability remains the priority, reducing installation time and complexity of backup power systems can deliver significant value throughout a project.
The KG Series incorporates several practical improvements, including:
An updated fuel system that allows direct connection at the skid
A simplified skid platform that integrates the power box, controller pedestal, and dual fuel reset box into a cleaner, more accessible layout
A common enclosure platform, shared across the wider Rehlko portfolio, creates greater consistency while optimizing airflow and service access
Together, these enhancements create a more straightforward installation experience for contractors and commissioning teams.
Reliability built in from the start
Every Rehlko generator undergoes factory testing for:
Safety
Electrical performance
Durability
Thermal balance
Noise
ISO 8528-9 vibration compliance
Such comprehensive testing helps ensure that every unit is ready to perform whenever it is needed. This commitment to reliability extends beyond the equipment itself. Rehlko utilizes its own branded engines and alternators, allowing greater control over quality and consistency across the product range.
Award-winning engineering
The KG Series builds on the same engineering philosophy behind Rehlko's award-winning KD Series, including standardized platforms and Rehlko-branded components.
The KD300 generator achieved Bronze in Plant Engineering's 2026 Product of the Year Awards, which recognizes innovation, performance and value for engineers and facility professionals.
Intelligent control for demanding applications
Modern backup power systems must do more than deliver dependable performance. They must also integrate seamlessly with increasingly sophisticated facilities and comply with evolving environmental requirements.
Every KG Series generator is equipped with an Electronic Control Module (ECM) and engineered to comply with the latest EPA spark-ignited emissions standards. Rehlko's controller options range from basic control for a single generator to advanced systems capable of paralleling multiple generators, allowing customers to select the level of functionality appropriate for their installation.
Combined with intuitive operator interfaces and configurable control packages, these capabilities help simplify day-to-day operation and promote efficient, reliable system performance.
Supporting customers throughout the product lifecycle
Choosing a generator is only the beginning. The KG Series is backed by:
Rehlko's global distributor network, providing local technical expertise from initial specification through installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.
Performance Care 360, which combines proactive maintenance programs, genuine Rehlko parts, and expert service to maximize uptime and reduce unexpected maintenance costs.
Warranty coverage to further enhance long-term ownership confidence. 2-year standard warranty, which extends to 5 years of coverage with purchase of a service contract through an authorized service representative.
Together, these services ensure customers receive ongoing support long after installation is complete.
A stronger platform for future projects
The updated KG Series reflects Rehlko's continued investment in creating a more unified gaseous generator platform—one that gives customers greater flexibility without increasing complexity.
Combining proven reliability with simplified installation, extensive configuration options, and lifecycle support, the refreshed KG Series helps engineers, contractors, and facility managers specify backup power with greater confidence.
